Two Lacey Women Charged With Having 45 Bags Of Heroin

Two Lacey Township residents were arrested on heroin possession charges - accompanying 45 bags of the drug - during a drug investigation on Friday, police said.

According to police:

The investigation led to the traffic stop of a vehicle suspected of being used by a subject suspected of being involved in heroin possession and distribution. Investigation at the scene led to the discovery of 45 bags containing heroin.

The driver of the vehicle, 21-year-old Alexandria Walker of 619 Oakwood Drive in Forked River, and the sole passenger, 18-year-old Melody Smyers of 380 Constitution Drive were both arrested.

Melody Smyers was charged with possession of heroin and possession with the intent to distribute CDS while Alexandria Walker was charged with possession of heroin.
