Forked River Man Arrested After Route 70 Traffic Stop

Ocean County residents who were driving a clunker had drug paraphernalia, cops say

Two Ocean County men were arrested and face drug charges after getting stopped on Old Marlton Pike near Route 70 Tuesday morning, Evesham Township Police said.

Donis Bergstrom, 42, of Forked River, and Sean Jagodnik, 36, of Brick, were stopped after an officer noticed multiple equipment violations on their car, police said, and had drug paraphernalia out in the open in their car.

Bergstrom and Jagodnik were both arrested on the spot, police said, and a search of the car after their arrest turned up illegal prescription pills.

Bergstrom and Jagodnik were both charged with third-degree possession of prescription drugs and disorderly persons offenses for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jagodnik was released on his own recognizance, while Bergstrom was released after posting $1,700 bail on unrelated warrants from other towns.
