Police recently arrested a Lanoka Harbor man on drunk driving and drug charges after his car struck a home on Brown Street, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officers Evan Androcy and George Resetar responded to the 800 block of Brown Street at 10:36 p.m. on July 17, where the incident occurred, he said.
Michael J. Kalucki, 65, was arrested at the scene after a brief investigation. He was charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, the chief said.
Kalucki was taken to police headquarters, where he was also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, Paprota said.
Police impounded Kalucki's car pursuant to John's Law.
