Woman's Club of Lacey, Neighbor

 <b><i>THE WOMAN’S CLUB OF LACEY</i></b><i> is a part of the General Federation of Women&#39;s Clubs, an International Organization - the largest woman&#39;s club in the world.  The New Jersey Chapter is known as the New Jersey State Federation of Women&#39;s Clubs.</i>

<i>The Woman’s Club of Lacey was organized in January, 1965, and was Federated and Incorporated in 1966.  We are “Dedicated to pursue with diligence the best life for our home and community.”  And our club has truly stood by that tradition.  <b>We do make a difference.</b>  Annually, we contribute to numerous causes throughout the world (UNICEF, Heifer International, Emergency Relief funds such as was in Japan after the earthquake/tidal wave last year.  In the United States we contribute to the Alzheimer&#39;s Foundation, but our focus is on our community where we provide scholarships, contribute to our local Fire and Emergency Squads, Underwater Rescue Team, Pop Corn Park Zoo, Lacey Food bank, needy families, and other causes, to mention but a few.</i>

<i>We have numerous departments within the club; music, drama, arts &amp; crafts, literature, conservation and mahjong, to name but a few.  There is something for everyone.  Lifelong friendships are made.</i>

<b><i>Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month, September through June at 10:30 am at the Community Hall, Forked River, New Jersey, Route 9 and Lacey Road. (December and June Meeting held in a restaurant)</i></b>
