Celebrate Spring with a Free Italian Ice
Rita's Italian Ice has one location in Lacey
Wednesday marks the first day of spring this year, and also a small break from recent cold weather. But only for a day, and not by much. So, if you need to cool off from what the National Weather Service predicts will be a sunny day with a 47 degree high temperature, Rita's Italian Ice locations are offering a free treat. From 12 to 9 p.m., as the company has done for the past 20 years, all Rita's locations are giving away free Italian ice to celebrate the first day of spring. Rita's has one Lacey location: 121 South Main St., Forked River Last year, the company said that more than 1.2 million cups of Italian ice were given away in a ten hour period.
