Residents can now scan crime alerts and submit anonymous crime tips on the Lacey Township Police Department’s new website. “In just the first few days of its activation, residents have already provided valuable information to assist the police department in investigating crimes in our township,” Deputy Mayor Gary Quinn said at a recent Committee meeting. The website provides “timely updates” on crime alerts and general announcements, he said. Capt. David Paprota pointed out that the Neighborhood Crime Alert page is not designed to serve as a police blotter. “It is designed to provide timely information to residents regarding specific conditions of continuing concern within the neighborhoods of Lacey Township,” the website says.
