District to Present Budget with 'Historic Tax Increase'

A presentation on the school district’s 2013-14 budget, which increases taxes approximately $300 for the average homeowner, will be made at the school board meeting Monday at 7:30 p.m. Earlier in March, the board approved its preliminary school district budget with a 4.9 percent increase in the local tax levy.
