First Responders Fund Set Up at Wells Fargo
Stop by Wells Fargo to donate to Lacey's emergency services
An account to benefit Lacey’s first responders has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank. Anyone can stop in and make a donation, said Lisa Zarra of Lanoka Harbor. “First responders need equipment,” she said. “They’re all volunteer and run their equipment on donated funds.” After Hurricane Sandy, Zarra felt driven to do something for the first responders. She was involved with the Lacey United Methodist Church behind the scenes, she said. “I wanted to go a step further. I’m a community-oriented person,” she said. The church has an overabundance of supplies, she said. “They are really overwhelmed,” she said.
