Residents enjoy an Independence Day celebration on Tuesday

Although Lacey's firework show did not have as many attendees as usual, residents enjoyed a belated Independence Day celebration Tuesday at Lacey Township High School. Rob Larsen provided the music with a mix of pop and patriotic tunes. The Lacey Police Department, Lanoka Harbor Fire Department, and the Lanoka Harbor EMS were on hand to provide emergency coverage. The show started shortly after 9 p.m. and lasted about 15 minutes.
