The King and his minions like to increase taxes Every Year

Follow the blue link to the article and you'll see Berkeley Twp. specifically called out in theRead More third bullet point.

@Sal Sorce - ding, ding, ding - wasn't Carl Block's summer job driving an ice cream truck aroundRead More Manahawkin?

You see we checked into the Democrats and Republicans donations and it showed the majority ofRead More contract and other donations go to the Republicans. For years they controlled Ocean County and handed many jobs to family, friends and contractors that are owned and operated by high republican people. You will never control them from handing donations to the party because they filter the donations secretly and underhanded to someone that would never be expected to donate. This is a known fact because union local 97 Teamsters who represents Berkeley township employees hands over $5000.00 to the secretaries to make a donation for them to the republican party. There is more then one way to make a donation without anyone knowing where it comes from or who made it. To try and stop this is like trying to stop a freight train with your head. I grew up in politics and ran for many offices only to learn that you can not beat the Republican money machine and the people they hand contracts and jobs to.

I invite both candidates to come forward and engage in an exchange with readers of Patch as to how,Read More if elected, they will address the formidable challenges facing the township during their term.
Brandy the Dog May 15, 2014 at 05:52 pm
With the likelihood of these two individuals winning their respective primaries, why don't theRead More readers of Patch formulate and post questions regarding their concerns about the community? The candidates will be listening. Do they have the gumption to answer? That could be a game breaker.

I would like to know how much this election will cost?
Silver dollar March 11, 2014 at 05:21 pm
wHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH LACEY? I do not vote in Burlington or Berkley.
Dale March 12, 2014 at 12:27 pm
@Silver dollar: Even though Aimee Belgard resides in Burlington County, she will be running for theRead More Third District House of Representatives seat. Lacey Township is included in the Third District of New Jersey; that means, you can vote for her, or not, on Election Day providing she wins the primary election. In addition, the Ocean County Chapter of the Sierra Club is relevant to Lacey as Lacey is part of Ocean County.

45% of the registered voters turned out in Ocean County??? That is absolutely horrible... "InRead More Ocean County, where many communities were devastated by Sandy just over a year ago, Christie collected 125,362 votes. Buono amassed 37,782 votes, as 169,275 of the 379,230 registered voters, or 44.64 percent, hit the polls."

Just goes to show that New Jersey-ans have no taste or logic re-electing this big fat bully intoRead More office. Just look at that man. He could eat anyone out of house and home and I am sure he is costing us taxpayers alot of money just to feed his big belly. Also his record is not good. my taxes keep going up and up and I am not getting anything more for my money that is for sure. Its disgraceful how stupid the people in this state really are and no wonder we have a mess in this country. If we cant get really smart intelligent caring people to run for office then we are truly screwed as a nation. It must makes me laugh when I see how stupid stupid stupid New Jerseyans are. The state deserves the bad image it has.. Look at what it just re-elected as its governor.

@Dennis: the present number of reps is perfectly incapable of representing the individual interestsRead More of the people of the US. I think the ratio is something like 1 to 900,000 or something. The more reps they have; the less they get done. I consider this a good thing. The government needs to stop doing things and let the people of the US live their own lives unimpeded by their misguided altruism.
Bill Jalinski November 6, 2013 at 08:03 pm
good riddance to crappy congressman
Spooner November 6, 2013 at 10:51 pm
Runyan pulled out because one he had no money, two, he's in a mixed district, where voters go forRead More either party, and three, the political climate down in Washington is not conducive for a decisive win...

Before you vote, would urge all to review the Report Card performance of the Lacey School District :Read More New Jersey Department of Education | Report Card education.state.nj.us/pr/nav.php?c=29;d=2480 I have posted the results for each school on these boards. In a more traditional Report Card form, I will now assign a Letter Grade for each school and a numerical score (GPA) where 'very high'= A/4.0; 'high'= B/3.0; 'average'=C/2.0; 'lags'=D/1.0; 'significantly lags' = F/0.0. : Cedar Creek Elem Sch: CDDDFF = F/0.83 GPA*** Forked River Elem Sch: ABBCFF= D+/ 1.83 GPA*** Lanoka Harlem Elem Sch: BBCDDD=D+=1.66 GPA***Mill Pond Elem Sch= AABBFF=C/2.33GPA***Lacey Middle Sch: CCCDDD= D1.5 GPA***Heroin High School: BCCDDD =D+/1.67 GPA. So much for the " Top Tier" education that the Downing/Palino/Dodaaro slate claim to be dedicated to. Apparently, the 'D' grade that angered the BOE so much was on the mark. The buck stops here!

I feel sorry for people dumb enough to vote for Booker. He is such an obvious creation or product ofRead More the democratic crime family. I guess between the professional takers and the people who actually believe the demonrats are for the little guy. We will have Booker for life, unless they run him for Pres after Hitlery ( the chorus girl of the apocalypse) does her 8 years of reeking havoc. America, we hardly knew ye.

NJ hasn't had a Republican US Senator since the 1970's. After this shutdown by Washington, I thinkRead More its time for a change.
