Lacey Teen Earns Eagle Scout Rank

The township Committee honored Jackson Childs of Lacey Township with a proclamation for his Eagle Scout Project

The township Committee honored Jackson Childs of Lacey Township with a proclamation for earning the rank of Eagle Scout.

Childs crafted two Purple Martin birdhouses for a family of Purple Martin birds, a species that returns yearly to its nesting site. He also enhanced a park by installing a bench, re staining fencing and cleaning it up.

Childs received donations from Cooper Electric, 84 Lumber Company, Public Works and the Director of Public Works Casey Parker and families of Troop 56.
