It only happens every four years, and Thursday's World Cup match between the United States Men's National Team and Germany has everything on the line.

With a win, the U.S. advances out of the quadrennial event's pool play. It can do the same by ending the game with a draw against the tough squad from Germany.

ESPN.com is live streaming the event for those who can't be near a television for the 12 p.m. start.

The squad is looking to best its 2010 performance of making it to the round of 16 and has beaten Ghana and ended in a draw against Portugal for its first two matches of the pool play round.

This is news? Even if it were, the game was yesterday and over by mid-afternoon. We lost yet this still appears in the main news column. Doesn't anybody monitor this site and try to keep it timely? One thing's for sure, if I want to know what the weather was last week I can probably find it in breaking news on Patch.
