Run the Pines for Canines

The Run the Pines for Canines 5K is a running race to benefit the Associated Humane Society’s Popcorn Park facility in Lacey Township. The race will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2012 starting from Popcorn Park at 9:00 AM. A very unique aspect of this event is that it is DOG-FRIENDLY, meaning that participants can bring and run with their dogs. All proceeds from the race benefit the “RES-Q” fund for shelter dogs and cats.

Race entry is $30.00, and comes with a free t-shirt and Popcorn Park admission ticket for all pre-registered runners (registered before May 21, 2012). Registration is also available on race-day starting at 7:30 AM. All runners and guests are invited to a post-race award and refreshments ceremony where we will recognize the top human and canine participants. Registration is available online at Active.com, at Lacey Township High School, Ultimate Fitness and Oxygen Fitness. We are looking forward to an exciting race full of healthy, wholesome fun.
