Middle school softball team finished 13-0
The softball team ended with a perfect season after defeating Toms River Intermediate South 11-0 on Thursday, May 17. The game was the team's sixth shutout.
The Lions ended the season 13-0, scoring a total of 146 runs and holding their opponents to just 24.
The team consists of Chelsea Howarad, Lindsay Opacity, Emily Dezendorf, Kristen Santoro, Kelly Fleck, Julia Rusak, Kayla Kohout, Monica Brignola, Elie Wright, Courtney Smith, Sara Fischer, Brianna Lynch, Carly Bulllock, Kayla Caputo, Taylor Risley, Jade Gunshefski, team manager Rachel Fury and coach Ryan O’Rourke.

Many of the girls play for the 14U Lacey Storm fastpitch travel team, which has won two tournaments so far this season.
