LAX Milestone: Lacey Senior Scores 100th Goal

Lauren Salemme scored four goals against Central Regional Thursday

Lacey Township High School senior Lauren Salemme, a three-year lacrosse letter winner, got her 100th goal against Central Regional Thursday.

The goal was scored in the second half with 17:47 remaining.

Before entering the game, Salemme needed four goals to reach 100. Against Central Regional, she had four goals and two assists.

In the season opener against Jackson Liberty, Salemme had eight goals.

“This player is not only an asset to our team but to the game of lacrosse itself,” Coach Aimee Del Vento said. “She is a humble player and a great team leader/captain.

The Lacey girls lacrosse team is currently 2-0.
