Graduation Videos and Photo Sittings Available Tuesday

Videos will be available in each of Lacey's schools

Copies of Lacey Township High School’s 2012 Graduation will be available at schools beginning Tuesday, July 10.

After a drenching commencement in which many Lacey parents were unable to snap photos of their children, the school district plans to make up for it by providing videos of the ceremony and photo sittings for the graduates.

The school district will be providing two complimentary copies of the graduation video. Due to a delay in copying the graduation, the videos were unable to be made available before Tuesday, a note on the school district’s website said.

The videos will be at each school in the district for pick up and could also be viewed online.

Superintendent Dr. Sandra Brower previously said that families might be able to get a snapshot picture of their graduate from the video.

The school photographer from The Lens will also be offering a sitting for graduates in their gowns and with their diplomas. For $20, parents can receive an 8-by-10, 5-by-6 and wallet photos, Brower said.

The sittings will begin also on July 10 at 2 p.m. Appointments can be made by contacting high school Secretary Kathy Fernandez at kfernandez@laceyschools.org.

If there is an overwhelming response, additional sittings will be offered, Brower said.
