Community Information Session To Be Held On Search For New Superintendent

A consultant from the New Jersey School Boards Association will be speaking to the community and school district's staff regarding the search at 6:30 p.m. today

A community information session will be held on the search for a new superintendent today in Lecture Hall at 6:30 p.m.

Charlene Zoerb, a consultant from the New Jersey School Boards Association, will be presenting an overview on the input from the public to the school district’s staff and Board of Education.

Zoerb explained her role as a consultant while residents provided input on critical issues facing the district and what they are looking for in a new superintendent.

Zoerb was contracted by the district to serve as a facilitator for a fee of $6,500, $2,000 of which was paid by the state.

The application deadline for the position was Aug. 15. Zoerb will be delivering the applications to the school district this week. The new superintendent will be named by the end of October.
