Two Incumbents Back on the Ballot for BOE

Carney and Martenak seek new terms

The deadline for filing petitions for the Lacey Township School Board has passed, and only two candidates are in the running for two three-year terms.

Both incumbents up for re-election, Bruce Carney, current board president, and John Martenak, current board vice president, have filed to be on the ballot come April 27 when school board elections will be held. Voters also will vote on the school tax levy.

Martenak has served two terms since 2005 while Carney has served four since 1999.
