Listening and Learning Meet and Greets Scheduled

The Winter months are filled with Listening and Learning activities.
The new year kicks off exciting new events in the Superintendent’s Transition Plan. Bus rides are scheduled and interviews are underway. The winter months bring parents and community together to meet together to talk about Lacey Township schools.
On Thursday, Jan. 12, Lacey Township parents and community members are invited to my first "Breakfast Coffee” for an informal meet and greet. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Perkins on Route 9.

On Thursday, Jan. 26, I will hosting an “Evening Coffee” held at the Mill Pond School at 7 p.m. for all parents.
Both coffees will be an informal, open-door meet and greet.

Additional dates and venues in the community will be scheduled throughout the school year. Suggestions are welcomed for other times and places.
On Wednesday, Feb. 8, an open parent forum designed to ‘Listen and Learn’ about Lacey is also a great way to share your voice. Everyone is welcome to attend and is encouraged to participate or just come to observe.
The Listening and Learning Forum will take place at the Lacey Middle School media center at 7:00 pm. This will be a more structured forum and parents are asked to come prepared with topics, concerns and ideas.
