Unopposed Candidates Cruise to Victory in 9th District Primary
Party-endorsed candidates run in November Senate, Assembly race
Three Democrats will challenge three incumbent Republicans in November's 9th district state legislative race. The 9th district includes central and southern Ocean County, as well as portions of Atlantic and Burlington counties.
All six candidates ran unopposed in Tuesday's primary elections.
The GOP incumbents, Sen. Christopher Connors, and Assembly members Brian Rumpf and DiAnne Gove, will face off against Democrats Anthony Mazzella, running for senate, and Peter Ferwerda and Christopher J. McManus, running for assembly.
