Recreation Department Accepting Registration for Fall Kayaking Program

Paddle through the Barnegat Bay on Saturday, Sept. 29

The Recreation Department is currently taking registration for its fall recreation programs, including kayaking for all ages.

The Forked River Outdoor Group (FROG) leads the kayaking program. The group will venture out for a couple hours paddling around the Barnegat Bay.

The guided tour is designed for all levels. The meeting location will be at the Cedar Creek Beach and is offered Saturday, Sept. 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The cost of the program is $25 per person, which includes the boat rental and a personal flotation device. Students 14 and under are $15.

Register for the program at the Recreation Office at 818 West lacey Road Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
