'Planting the seed' career fair aimed at giving kids career ideas

From the Lacey Department of Recreation:

The Lacey Township Recreation Department is hosting an winter event called Career Night “planting the seed”. This event is designed for your child as a informative guide to give them the opportunity to learn possible career paths.

This event concentrates on career paths such as Vocational, Professional, Certifications, Public Service and others career choices. This event is designed for families of a Middle School student but is suitable for any family that is interested in having a jump start on knowing what careers are out there in a side by side comparison of salaries, schooling, personality, and much more.

"Many of our local colleges and universities will be in attendance to provide information to our parents and students," the department said in a statement.

This event is held at the Lacey Township Middle School cafeteria on Friday 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Jan. 24th. This event there is free to attend and light refreshments will be served.

The Lacey Township Recreation Department is located at 818 Lacey Road, directly behind the Police Department, and is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
