Residents in Lacey's waterfront communities are asked to place household debris — not vegetative — curbside by Friday night

Residents living in waterfront communities, which suffered damage due to Hurricane Sandy, will have one more opportunity to have debris picked up by the township on Saturday, Dec. 29.

The pickup is for household debris only, not vegetative debris, which can be brought to the Lacey Township Recycling Center on Municipal Lane.

The township is asking participating residents to have household debris curbside by Friday night.

This is the final township collection. The township will not return to pick up debris after the collection is made on Saturday.

The township Committee approved this additional and final collection on Dec. 13 after the Department of Public Works had assessed lingering damage and debris finding yet another 150 homes with belongings haled to the curb.
