Although Tuesday's primary race is uncontested, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Lacey's party primaries will be uncontested as two incumbents and two Democratic newcomers have filed petitions to run for the two open seats ahead of this year’s Township Committee races.
Two seats on the committee are open this year — those of Republicans Mayor Mark Dykoff and Gary Quinn.

Dykoff and Quinn both filed petitions to run to keep their seats. Democrats Nicholas Toth and Shawn Judson also will vie for seats on the committee for 2013.
The 2012 municipal race has the potential for a party power shift as three Republicans and two Democrats currently head the committee. A Republican majority has maintained the committee for more than a decade.

The primaries will be held Tuesday, June 5. Independent candidates have until that day to file for the general election.

- Gary Quinn, age 56, 1204 Varuna Drive, Forked River (Incumbent Republican)
- Mark Dykoff, age 52, 254 Dogwood Lane, Forked River (Incumbent Republican)
- Nicholas Toth, age 26, 1801 Lakeside Drive South, Forked River (Democrat)
- Shawn D. Judson, age 56, 50 Hilltop Court, Lanoka Harbor (Democrat)
