Two Men Arrested For T.V. Thefts At Lacey Wal-Mart On Super Bowl Sunday

Two men were arrested on Super Bowl Sunday in connection with recent T.V. thefts at the Wal-Mart in Lacey, police said.

According to Lacey police:

On Sunday, at 2:52 p.m., the Walmart, 580 Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor, reported the theft of two Vizio 32” LED televisions that occurred earlier in the day.

Officer Peter Donahue conducted an investigation which led to the arrest of 34-year-old Charles C. English of Mallard Road in Berkeley and 38-year-old Kevin T. Reilly of Sica Road in Toms River for the shoplifting incident.

English was arrested at his home by Donahue with the assistance of Berkeley Township police officers. He was transported to the Lacey Township Police Headquarters, processed, and released after receiving a criminal summons for possession of stolen property and fencing.

Reilly was arrested on two outstanding warrants in Toms River by the Toms River Police Department. Donahue responded to Toms River Police Headquarters and took custody of Reilly.

He was transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters where he was processed and charged with shoplifting and fencing. Bail was set at $10,000 with no 10 percent option. He was lodged in the Ocean County Correctional Facility in default of the bail.
