Two Berkeley Men Charged In Lacey With Carrying 'Baggie' Of Oxycodone

Two Berkeley men were charged after a traffic stop this past week in Lacey with carrying Oxycodone and other pills, police said.

According to police: 

On Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 9:29 p.m., Officer Evan Androcy observed a vehicle swerving as it was traveling north on Route 9. Officer Androcy stopped the vehicle on Route 9 near the intersection of Warren Avenue in Lanoka Harbor.

Investigation at the scene led to the discovery of a small plastic baggie containing both Oxycodone pills and Alprazolam pills. The driver, 24-year-old Anthony P. Cipolletti of 47 Harborage Avenue in Bayville, and the passenger, 18-year-old Evan R. Smith of 26 Galleon Court in Bayville, were placed under arrest and transported to Lacey Township Police Headquarters.

Both subjects were charged with the 3rd degree offense of Possession of CDS. Both were released on a summons pending a court date.
