Two people were arrested recently for having drugs in their parked car, police said.
According to Lacey police:
On Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 9:12 p.m., Officer Peter Donahue and Special Officer Travis Horton observed an improperly parked vehicle containing two occupants on Dover Road near Good Luck Road in Forked River (Bamber Lake).
Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of two occupants, 18-year-old Danica M. Heck of Poe Avenue in Forked River and a 17-year-old juvenile male from Toms River for Possession of Marijuana.
They were transported to police headquarters and processed. Danica Heck was charged with Possession of Marijuana and released on a criminal summons. The juvenile was charged on a juvenile complaint with Possession of Marijuana and released to his parent.
