Traffic Stop Leads to DWI, Warrant Arrest

Driver was found in car 'incoherent,' cops say

Lacey Police arrested a Toms River woman for drunk driving as well as two outstanding warrants after responding to a report of a person driving carelessly in a retirement community.

Officers Andrew Slota and Evan Androcy responded to Pheasant Run in Lacey at about 12:37 a.m. Friday and located the vehicle which was stopped on Lakeside Drive South with a flat front tire. The driver, later identified as 31-year-old Kristal Boldman, of Toms River, was "incoherent," according to a report by police.

During an investigation, police say they discovered that Boldman had outstanding warrants from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department and Tinton Falls police.

Boldman did not provide police with breath samples, police said.

She was ultimately charged with DWI and the outstanding warrants and transported to the Ocean County Jail.
