Three Lanoka Harbor Men Arrested In Drug Bust

Lacey Township Police conclude a three-month long investigation into the distribution of heroin

Three Lanoka Harbor men were arrested after a three-month investigation into the distribution of heroin by the Lacey Township Police Department, officials said.

Scott Thomson, 56, Juan Santana III, 30, and Daniel Pentz, 35, all from 109 Clairmore Avenue in Lanoka Harbor were arrested after the police department executed a search warrant of the home.

The warrant was obtained after the investigation and the search yielded 155 bags of heroin and numerous items of paraphernalia consistent with the use of heroin as well as other drugs.

Thomson was charged with possession of heroin and maintaining a nuisance and was released on his own recognizance.

Santana was charged with the possession of heroin, possession of Suboxone, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sent to the Ocean County Jail with bail set at $75,000.

Pentz was charged with possession of heroin and intent to distribute heroin as well as possession of a police scanner during the commission of a crime. He was sent to the Ocean County Jail with bail set at $100,000.

The Barnegat Township Police Department and the K-9 Unit from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the search.
