Three Forked River Males Charged With Robbery

Three Forked River males allegedly attacked and robbed a 15-year old male

Three Forked River males were arrested after allegedly robbing a 15-year old at the intersection of Shady Brook Lane and Constitution Drive, police said.

Sean Bradford, 29, Christopher Moynihan, 20, and Robert Donahue, 18, all of Forked River, were charged with robbery and more after attacking a 15-year old male at approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.

The victim realized three adult males were following him while he was walking home from a Route 9 business where he works.

The three males attacked the victim from behind, taking him to the ground. While holding him in a choke hold, the attackers demanded and took the victim’s money, $119, and a cell phone valued at $250.

Before fleeing, the attackers threatened the victim not to tell anyone, including the police.

Although the victim did not require medical attention, he was distressed, police said.

The three males were identified and arrested on Tuesday, May 24.

They were charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Bradford was also charged with terroristic threats and was sent to the Ocean County Jail with bail set at $50,000. Moynihan and Donahue were also sent to jail in lieu of their bail.
