Thieves Steal Bumper Off Volkswagen Beetle in Lacey

Some unknown thieves apparently couldn't get the whole car, so they just settled on stealing the bumper off a Volkswagen Beetle last week.

On Monday, Nov. 11, at 2:51 p.m., Officer Noah Schaffer responded to the 500 block of Wynnewood Drive in Forked River on a report of a theft and discovered the missing bumper, police said.

The complainant reported that between 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6 and 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, an unknown person or persons stole the bumper off of the front of her vehicle, police said.
