'Suspicious Person' Caught With Drugs, Cops Say

Forked River woman has been charged on several occasions

A Forked River woman was arrested at Wawa on drug-related charges after police investigated a “suspicious person,” police said.

Natalie Jones, 31, of Forked River was located at the Wawa on Lacey Road on March 30 at approximately 3:37 a.m.

Police were dispatched to investigate a "suspicious person" and as a result Officer Ewart arrested Jones, police said.

Jones was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

She was transported to Ocean County Jail with bail set at $2,500. Jones also had a $500 warrant from Toms River Township.

Lacey Police also arrested Jones on March 7. She was charged with shoplifting, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to Ocean County Jail’s inmate information, Jones was previously charged with driving on the revoked list, theft by unlawful taking, computer theft by access, willful nonsupport and careless driving.
