From Lacey police:
Many of the roadways and parking lots throughout the township are still very slippery due to the very cold temperatures and icy conditions.
Residents should exercise caution when walking or driving, as even the pavement that has been cleared of snow will likely have a coating of very slippery ice throughout the night and through the day tomorrow.
Unfortunately, salt applications may not work to melt the ice until temperatures increase.
