Santa's Route Through Lacey Township

Santa Claus is coming to Lacey Township. He’ll be riding on the fire trucks of the Lanoka Harbor, Forked River and Bamber Lake Fire Companies through Saturday, Dec. 17.

This is also an opportunity for residents to donate to the Lanoka Harbor Fire Departments.

According to Jack Amrozewicz, Chief of the Lanoka Harbor Fire Company, their mail-out campaign begins in September and carries through Jan. 1. “A lot of residents give during the Santa route.”

Below is a schedule of Santa’s whereabouts for the week. The companies typically begin their routes at dusk.

The schedule is weather permitting and subject to change.

Monday, Dec. 12

Forked River Fire Department:
South Barnegat Pines – Route 9 to Jay Street
Forked River Beach to New Bridge
Parkers Point Boulevard

Tuesday, Dec. 13

Lanoka Harbor Fire Department:
South of Laurel Blvd
Haines Street East

Forked River Fire Department:
South Barnegat Pines – Dee Road to Deerhead Lake Drive
Forked River Beach from New Bridge to end of Beach Boulevard

Wednesday, Dec. 14

Lanoka Harbor Fire Department:
Laurel Boulevard to Clairmore Avenue

Forked River Fire Department:
Complete Forked River Beach
Cranberry Hill
Spalding, Penhook and Andover Roads

Thursday, Dec. 15

The Forked River and Lanoka Harbor Fire Companies will be hitting any areas that have yet to be visited.

Saturday, Dec. 17

Bamber Lake Fire Company (starting at dusk; rain date is Sunday, Dec. 18):
