The Cops need to patrol more in the Beach Blvd area. Jackoffs around here drive through the streets at 50+ mph constantly. Pennsacola is the worst, If I lived on that street I would never let my kid outside.
Linny September 20, 2012 at 01:10 PM
Tom how right you are!!!! we do need more patrols in the Beach Blvd area.. the low lifes that walk up and down this area are scarey to say the least and you know they dont live there because you have never seen them before.. I would never let my kids outside there.. please Lacey police patrol more .. be aware more .. hide more in that area and catch these guys who are ruining this town.. Thanks Tom C for speaking up about Beach Blvd.. we*re not all bad people who live in this area .. just the jerks that come around and steal and rob from us..

I'm tired of locking up like fort knox because everyone in my family has a job and we have to leave, afraid that someone in the neighborhood is watching our routine. To the dirtbags of lacey: find a job, get training, do something you'll feel good about! People are hard working, you have no right to rob us! Get a life!
Linny September 20, 2012 at 01:17 PM
Oh how right you are too Simpletruth.. they have NO Right AT ALL>>>>>>>>>>>>>>and they wont get a life because they think this is their life.. low life pond scum..its a darn shame we are the victims and they get away with it ..

There is a town meeting on Thursday the 27th. i plan on talking about my home being robbed and i think other residents need to come and speak also, im not saying it's going to solve the problem in our town but people need to be aware of whats going on
johnnybadass September 21, 2012 at 11:27 AM
Everyday I wait, wait for the time when I get one in my home ,And I will .. . It will be that moment in time that they realize they cant leave..tic toc,tic toc,
ynot September 21, 2012 at 01:34 PM
It sad to say, but there is no one on the committee that knows how to solve a problem, good luck.
Mary September 21, 2012 at 03:51 PM
The bottom line is our homes are being robbed, 7 so far that we are aware of him, so i think our community needs to watch out for one another and i do believe that someone knows something or has seen something

Not for nothing but people are writing things on here and they are getting deleted. I did not write anything wrong. I wrote a name, but it was my own personal name, i am not accusing anyone of doing anything. Just stating facts. And now my comments are deleted. My house was broken into, It wasnt the first of the robberies, it was actually the 3rd one, I feel like if people were to be notified that this was going on, all within a 15 block radius we would have been more cautious. If their is so many robberies maybe just maybe they could be out patrolling a little bit better. I have lived in this house for 12 years, and have seen a cop drive down the road MAYBE 4 times. Not saying these cops dont have bigger crimes to fight off, but lacey is obviously getting to be a very bad town, there is a lot of people involved with drugs, why is it so hard to catch these bastards? The officer that arrived to my house was very kind and helpful, as we were waiting for the criminalistics to get here we were chatting, he even went so far to mention when they go to pawn shops they see the same names over and over again on the slips.. If this is the case why arent they looking into those people more? Like i said i get it, the cops could be busy with more important cases, but the people of the town should have been notified sooner. Not days after this started happening.

Melissa Your comments are great just leave out the foul language and they wont get deleted That is against Patches policy
Mary September 21, 2012 at 07:20 PM
I just read a article in Lacey Patch, 2 people were arrested yesterday for a break in, i hope to god they have the persons that have been doing this and that maybe there is a slight chance our things will be returned to us

Maybe if the Parasite Legal System that makes doing anything illegal, like putting stuff in your own body illgegal while letting corporations poison us with crappy pharma, toxic waste, radioactive water spills etc wasnt around there would be no crime. Why are drugs illegal, we put chemicals in our body everyday, most put profit in the hands of the parasites who call themselves our leader so its ok, but the whole drugs is evil is just a load of nonsense, people have been taking opium for thousands of years, but now suddenly they are evil? No, its cause its easier to take away the rights of the individual when you got the masses dumbed down and afraid. Let people choose their own path and let them put whatever in their body and decriminalize drugs and the crime epidemic will trickle down to nothing, oh wait, the union parasite cops wont have a job, they might have to actually find real work instead of using the system to feed off the weak and broken. F@ck the law of the parasite

I hate this person that broke into my house. Never thought I'd be afraid in my own home.
SweetVell September 23, 2012 at 05:29 AM
$10,000 worth of jewelry stolen with no forced entry ? How does that happen ? How does one have that expensive of jewelry in the home and not lock their doors ? I feel bad about their loss but it's amusing at the same time
Mary September 23, 2012 at 03:33 PM
To sweetvell, how can you say this is amusing, i guess your home was not broken into, mine was and it's very scary, and to laceymom we feel the same way
Tracy Peccarelli Folk September 24, 2012 at 03:55 AM
sad that drugs have to do with these breakins.. cmon people this isnt about the economy.. lets face it.. the junkies need their fix so they rob to get it.. these are not people feeding their starving kids and just down on their luck...drugs drive most crime, this town and many others.. we are not fighting this battle alone....unfortunately i have beem victimized in my own home as well,, people we knew.. money, prescriptions, a coin collection, video games etc etc... once,my house key was even stolen and used and yep by a person we know...bet they got a surprise when my son woke up......clearly what i do know is this... if they come into my home and i find them or catch them while they are here.....they are gonna need a surgeon to get that foot out of their ass after i kick it......

And we all wonder why all of a sudden there are so many homes with For Sale signs in front of them..This use to be a great town to live in and everyone wanted to be here but now its a No Way would I live there town!!!! .. if the town officials dont do something soon Lacey will be known as the little town with major major drug problems and there will be no way realtors will be able to see homes here to make a living.. WAKE UP all you BIG WIG township people.. your town needs help so dont sweat the small stuff and get going on the BIG ISSUES .... DRUGS and the scum that steal from innocent people.. It makes me sick.. to think what this town has become and all you do is sit by and watch.. Start slowly by putting hidden cameras around the town mabye then you*ll catch some of these low lifes..and dont say there is no money because the high taxes that Lacey as incurd on people should definitly pay for them to start with... Tired of all the excuses ..Start really working for this town to save it.. !!!!!!!
kazoome September 24, 2012 at 03:30 PM
high tax rate??.......laceys taxes are one of the lowest......the problem is when these people are caught nothing is done to them......the jails are overcrowded and theres no where to put the petty criminals
kazoome September 24, 2012 at 04:06 PM
you people talk like lacey twp is the only town that has these problems......every town does many much much worse than lacey......get a scanner and listen to dover,berkley.waretown........every town has the same problem right now......between the drug addicts and the people losing there homes people are stealing......lock your cars, lock your doors even when your home......and yes it is a shame we have to live this way

So everyone is aware a new pawn shop may be opening at the top of Laurel Blvd. I believe it is at the old location of Astro Appliance. I saw a sign on the window this past weekend. Unreal.
kazoome September 24, 2012 at 05:34 PM
pawn shops are a good thing to have....there supposed to hold items for a period of time and send a list of items to the police.......if they dont do that and someone witnesses that they should call the police and report them
Melissa September 24, 2012 at 06:05 PM
To laceysucks, it was a very expensive Gucci handbag, with a toshina laptop in it.

Melissa September 25, 2012 at 09:10 PM
Because the bank robbery just happened... Just like with this article the first break in was the 12th but the article was not posted until the 19th. It's unreal that it takes so long to be notified.
Mary September 25, 2012 at 09:15 PM
2 more homes have been robbed, and the bank next to Applebees was robbed, great town this has become
JOHNNY Done it November 20, 2012 at 05:04 AM
Wait till they get inside your house & beat them till they need a medical examiner ,That should deter a future break in
JOHNNY Done it November 20, 2012 at 05:07 AM
The only people that win in the legal the legal system Is the lawyers ,the judge who makes big bucks & the criminal .... the victim gets victimized again ,
