Police: Two Arrested For Separate Burglary Incidents

Jeanette Casulli of Lanoka Harbor allegedly stole more than $26k in jewelry from her neighbor

Police made two arrests in relation to recent house burglaries, police officials said.

Jeanette Casulli, 48, of Lanoka Harbor was arrested after a police investigation led to her alleged connection to a house burglary.

A Lanoka Harbor resident reported that someone stole a large amount of jewelry valued at $26,650 was missing from her home on Jan. 26. No forced entry was made.

Casulli is a neighbor and had access to the home of the resident who reported the incident.

Casulli was arrested on Feb. 22 and charged with burglary and theft of movable property. She was released on her own recognizance after posting $2,500 cash bail.

A 17-year-old juvenile was also arrested on Feb. 22 after police completed a theft investigation.

The teen allegedly stole jewelry while visiting an Elwood Street home in Forked River in January.

The juvenile was charged with theft of movable property valued at $740. He was released to his parents.
