Police: Three Found With Heroin in Lacey Parking Lot

The three local residents were released pending a court appearance

Police arrested three local residents after finding drugs in a motor vehicle in the Lacey Mall parking lot, Detective Sgt. Chris Cornelius said.

Lauren Pierce, 27, of Toms River, John Hedberg, 29, of Forked River and Devin Durow, 28, of Forked River were arrested on Wednesday, April 25 after police conducted an inquiry after seeing suspicious activity in a motor vehicle.

Police discovered heroin and drug paraphernalia associated with its use during a search of the vehicle.

Pierce, Hedberg and Durow were charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Durow was also found to have an outstanding warrant for a probation violation.

All three were released on their own recognizance pending a court appearance.

Durow posted bail for the warrant.
