Police Searching For Suspects In Attempted Burglary of Forked River Pharmacy

Incident occurred early Monday morning, police chief says

Lacey police are investigating the attempted burglary of the Forked River Pharmacy on Route 9 South earlier this week, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officers responded to the pharmacy at 6:55 a.m. on Monday on a report of criminal mischief and attempted burglary. The incident occurred sometime between the time the store closed on Sunday and early morning on Monday, before the pharmacy opened, the chief said.

An unknown suspect or suspects pried open a rear door at the pharmacy, but did not enter the main part of the store. Nothing in the pharmacy appeared to have been stolen, Paprota said.
