Police Revive Lacey Man Found Drowning in Pool

A 77-year-old disabled Lanoka Harbor man was found submerged in an inground pool ater falling off a raft

Lacey police revived a Lanoka Harbor man after he was found submerged in a local pool.

Police responded to a 911 call at 12:32 p.m. after a Nautilus Boulevard resident reported that her 77 year-old disabled husband James Carlo had been submerged within their pool. 

Carlo was floating on a raft in the shallow end of the inground pool when he fell off while momentarily unattended. He was found submerged in the deep end of the pool.

Patrolman Keith Pearce rescued Carlo from the pool. Pearce along with Officers Darrell Nick and Special Officer Richard Smialowicz performed CPR and reestablished a pulse.

Carlo was airlifted by MONOC One to Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
