Police On LBI Arrest Man On Active Warrant

A Jersey City man was arrested this week on Long Beach Island for having an active warrant. Harvey Cedars police said.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, police stopped a vehicle due to a passenger not wearing their seatbelt.

Further investigation by the officer found the passenger, 47-year-old Adrian L. Johnson, to possess an active warrant out of New Brunswick Municipal Court

The active arrest warrant was for failure to appear in court on a suspended driver’s license charge with $650.00 bail set

Johnson was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters and released on his own recognizance pending a future court date in New Brunswick. A motor vehicle summons was issued to the driver.

Officer Timothy Butler was the arresting officer.

What does the picture of Seaside Park have to do with an arrest in Harvey Cedars?

Give The Patch a break. This is probably the most exciting thing that has happened in Harvey Cedars all winter.
