Lacey Police Investigating Theft of $600 From Clearwater Drive Home

No signs of forced entry


A resident in the 100 block of Clearwater Drive recently reported that someone entered their home during the daytime on July 12 and stole $600, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Officer Daniel Ricciardella responded to the house at 5:18 p.m. on a report of a burglary. The victim told police that someone entered the residence between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and took the money .There were no signs of forced entry, the chief said.

 Lacey Detective Sam Della Sala, along with the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department Crimininalistics Investigation Unit (CIU), responded to the scene. The incident is currently under investigation, Paprota said.
