Police Charge Two Male Juveniles With Shoplifting Cold Medications At CVS


Lacey Patrolman George Resetar arrested two male juveniles in the parking lot of Walmart who fit the description of two shoplifting suspects who fled the CVS store in Lanoka Harbor.

Resetar stopped the youths at 7:56 p.m. on April 9. The juveniles were found to have a box of 16 Coricidin HBP Cough and Cold Tablets and a box of CVC Tussin Cough Liquid Gels which were stolen from the CVS. The medications were valued at $13.98, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Both juveniles were transported to Lacey Township police headquarters where they were turned over to their parents. Both juveniles were charged with shoplifting, the chief said.
