Police Charge Lanoka Harbor Man With Heroin Possession

A call from a concerned parent led to the arrest of a Lanoka Harbor man for possession of heroin, possession of a hypodermic needle and drug paraphernalia, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Police officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Cedar Drive at 3:13 a.m. on July 13, after receiving a call to check on well-being of the caller's son, Sean Gavin, 25, the chief said.

Investigation at the scene led to Gavin’s arrest on the drug charges. He was taken to police headquarters and processed, Paprota said.
