Lacey police recently arrested a Forked River man on driving under the influence after a motor vehicle stop on Lacey Road near Lake Barnegat Drive, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officer Michael Verwey stopped Armando Quiroz-Martinez, 26, Lacey Road, at 3:21 a.m. on May 11. He was taken to police headquarters and also charged with reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, and driving without a license, the chief said.
Police also charged the vehicle's registered owner, Beatriz Lopez-Reyes, 21, Howell, with allowing an intoxicated person to driver her car. She was a passenger in the car at the time of the arrest, Paprota said.
