Police Bust Lacey Couple: Seize Oxycodone, Cocaine From Hawser Drive Home
Christoper Franzone and wife facing numerous drug charges
Lacey Township police have charged a Forked River man with running a "large scale" Oxycodone distribution from his home on Hawser Drive, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Detectives combed through Christopher Franzone's home and Chevrolet Tahoe on May 10, after obtaining two search warrants. The arrest was the culmination of an investigation into the possible distribution of Oxycodone, a schedule III narcotic opoid, the chief said.
They found 1,300 in Oxycodone pills, cocaine and marijuana. The street value of the Oxycodone pills is estimated at $40,000, Paprota said.

"This was a very thorough and professional investigation conducted by detectives in the Lacey Township police department, which led to taking a large scale distributor of Oxycodone off the streets of our town," the chief said.
Franzone, 48, was charged with possession of Oxycodone, intent to distribute more than an ounce, possession of prescription blanks and failing to notify law enforcement officials of an address change under Megan's Law. He is lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, in lieu of $150,000 bail, Paprota said.

Lacey Township police also notified the New Jersey Parole Board and an additional no-bail warrant was issued for offenses that violated Franzone’s parole conditions.
Marie Franzone, 41, was charged with possession of Oxycodone and possession of marijuana. She was released on her own recognizance, he said
Also arrested was Jessica Calpen, 18, Marie Franzone's daughter. She was charged with possession of Oxycodone and released pending a court appearance, the chief said.
Police also seized Franzone's SUV as being used to transport a controlled dangerous substance, he said.
