Police Blotter: Police Detain Males After Fight

The Lacey Township Police Department made five warrant arrests this past week

 

No arrests were made after police responded to Town Square Plaza at Lacey Road and Route 9 for a report of a fight.

Several males were fighting after getting off of a NJ Transit bus at 11:30 p.m. on Nov. 27, police said.

One male was observed with a knife. When police arrived several suspects fled the scene while others were detained temporarily.

Nov. 28
Lauren Johnson and Ashley Gugger, both 18 and from Beachwood, were arrested at Walmart for stealing $117 in makeup. They were processed and released.

Carolyn Feldman, 33, of Waretown was stopped for speeding and arrested for a $250 outstanding warrant out of Ocean Port in Monmouth.

Nov. 27
Jeffery Yost, 31, of Toms River was stopped for an uninsured and unregistered vehicle and arrested for an outstanding $250 traffic summons out of Waretown.

Patricia Glenn, 42, of Forked River was stopped for speeding. Glenn had a $500 warrant from Long Beach Township.

Patrick Cornelius, 22, of Lanoka Harbor was arrested on outstanding warrant of $2,500 for allegedly shoplifting a 26-inch flat screen TV from Walmart on Nov. 25.

Police responded to Burger King for a report of a suspicious group in front of a business. Brian Larmour, 38, from Tuckerton was arrested for a $500 outstanding warrant out of Willingboro.

Nov. 25
Grady Toughill, 25, of Pine Beach was arrested for allegedly shoplifting $139 worth of items from Walmart. Toughill was processed and released.

Nov. 25
Jean George, 28, of Toms River was arrested and charged with DWI with a minor in the vehicle. George’s vehicle was located and investigated at the main gate to Oyster Creek Generating Station at 1:39 a.m.

Nov. 24
A resident reported at 1:30 p.m. that at 2:30 a.m. earlier that day, four unidentified males in the parking lot of Biele Jewelers on Route 9 assaulted him after exiting a local bar. He suffered an injury to the eye. No arrests were made and the incident is under investigation.

Nov. 22
Walmart security reported two unidentified black males left the store with two desktop computers valued at $996. The incident is under investigation.
