Police: NY Man Faces Drug Charges After Driving Recklessly Through Crash Scene

Others arrested on drug charges and for shoplifting

A Staten Island man was arrested on drug charges after he drove through the scene of a motor vehicle accident recklessly, police said.

Sean Suppa, 25 was arrested at approximately 6:45 p.m. Sept. 29. Police were at the scene of an accident when Suppa drove through.

Suppa was charged with careless driving, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed and released on a summons.

Oct. 9
After police conducted a motor vehicle stop, Peter Hanley, 58, of Berkeley was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 8
Joseph P. Ashnult II, 22, of Ocean Gate was arrested at 10:56 p.m. for shoplifting two pocketknives from Walmart valued at $53.

Oct. 1
A resident of Tampa Road in Forked River reported a stolen dirt bike at 1:30 p.m. The bike was valued at $500 and was stolen between Monday, Sept. 26 and Saturday, Oct. 1. The police department recovered the bike.

Sept. 29
A portable GPS valued at $140 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Warwick Lane in Lanoka harbor theft of GPS.
