Police Arrest Two Women Found Slumped Over In Car In CVS Parking Lot
Police recently charged a Seabright Road woman with drunk driving and a passenger in her car with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Sgt. Paul Sullivan and Patrolman Jeffrey Slota responded to the Route 9 store in Lanoka Harbor at 5:49 pm. on May 22, on a report of two women slumped over in a car in the parking lot, the chief said.
Investigation at the scene led to the arrest of the driver, identified as Cheryl Della-Pietro, 62, Seabright Road and the passenger, Michelle Della-Pietro, 34, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (Oxycodone) and tampering with evidence, Paprota said.
The vehicle Cheryl Della-Pietro was operating was impounded pursuant to John’s Law, the chief said.
