Police: 2 Steal Thousands in Cigarettes From Wawa

Two males stole two cases of Marlboro cigarettes from the Lacey Road Wawa

Lacey Police are searching for two males who allegedly stole $4,500 worth of cigarettes from the , Lt. Scott Tirella said.

The two suspects entered Wawa at 4:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4. One male went behind the counter and took two cases of Marlboro cigarettes while the other distracted the clerk.

The males fled east on Lacey Road in a black Chevrolet Lumina with New York license plates.

No injuries were reported and police did not provide a description of the men.

The incident is still under investigation. Anyone with further information is asked to report it to the police at 609-693-6636.
