Police: 2 Arrested in Relation to Forked River House Burglary

Investigations are ongoing for the burglary of six other homes

Two were arrested in connection with the burglary of a Forked River home, police said.

Renae Milko, 22, of Waretown and Gabreiella Terrill, 22, of Forked River were arrested upon completion of the investigation of a Bullard Avenue home that was burglarized on Sept. 12 during the daytime hours, police said.

The residents of the Bullard Avenue home reported that jewelry and crystal valued at $1,200 had been stolen, police said.

Following the burglary, detectives obtained a vehicle description from neighbors that matched a vehicle driven regularly by Terrill. Continued investigation found that two females were involved in the incident and ultimately led to the arrests of Milko and Terrill on Thursday, Sept. 20.

Milko and Terrill were charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. They were sent to the Ocean County Jail with a cash bail set at $25,000 each.

Each charge is a third degree and carries a three to five year prison sentence, police said.

Milko has been previously indicted for the burglary of a home in May 2011 and taking more than $500 in jewelry. Milko was also indicted for stealing jewelry in Toms River in June 2011.

Terrill was charged with shoplifting in May 2012 after she allegedly attempted to steal $65.89 worth of merchandise from Kohl's. She was indicted in April 2012 on two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card after police said she used a stolen card on two occasions at Kohl's.

Terrill was also indicted in January 2012 for possession of cocaine and possession of oxycodone.

Investigations are ongoing for six other recent burglaries.

they look like such innocent girls! Looks are deceiving! I'll pray for them even though my home was broken into on 9/14 and I'll probably never see my stuff again! Karma will reveal itself when the time is right!!!

22 years old...what a damn shame... they have their whole life ahead of them. I wonder with some consistant and proper help that they might kick the habit and be responsible adults in society in the future, after they made restitution. I can't imagine how it must feel to have been burglerized and have someone go thru your belongings. I know I would feel the same as you all do. BUT what if that was your daughter that took the wrong road ? Just playing the devils advocate here...
